Introduction

The Major System is a memory system for remembering numbers by translating them into words.

Basically you have to learn a table of mappings between consonants and numbers.  This lets you translate a number into a series of consonants.  Since vowels have no meaning in the system, you add them between the consonants to create a word which will hopefully be easy to remember.
